Terrebonne Monitoring Incorporated, also known as TMI, is a a non-profit 501(c)(3) started in Terrebonne Parish to meet the community's needs of a safe and child-friendly environment for court appointed meetings, visitations, and exchanges.
Our Story
Every business has a story and ours is no different. TMI was started by Tara L. Whitney in response to attorney's request and community need of a safe location for families to meet during times of conflict to maintain the safety of both parents and children. For a long time, Terrebonne residents have had to exchange children in parking lots, public locations, police stations, etc. They have been at the mercy of police availability, the risk of criminal charges, and both physical and mental abuse. Those risk will be drastically reduced with the introduction of TMI.
Together with Dr. and Mrs. John Sweeny, their family, the Occupational Medicine Services (OMS) Team, Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office, Terrebonne District Attorney's Office, and Whitney Mediations this service will now be available to our area and surrounding areas. We look forward to providing exceptional service to our community.
